What does it cost?

Scoped per system, quoted after the teardown. If the leak costs more than the fix, we proceed. If it doesn't, I say so and you keep the plan.

How do payments work?

Milestones, agreed in writing before work starts. A deposit reserves the slot, the remainder follows the phases you signed off. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, and nothing to pay for work you haven't seen.

What if the work doesn't perform?

You keep every file, template, and asset that shipped. If a system launches and misses the numbers we set together, I stay on and iterate at no extra cost until we hit them or we agree we won't. That risk sits on my side of the table because that's how it should sit.

Is there a minimum engagement?

The smallest thing worth building is a single system: identity, site, or campaign. Below that, it's design decoration, not a system, and someone else will do that faster and cheaper. Most engagements land in the four to eight week range.

Are there hidden or ongoing fees?

No. The quote covers everything named in the scope: design, revisions, handoff, source files, and one calibration call after launch. Ongoing retainers are a separate agreement, only offered when they make sense, and priced flat monthly.

How much of my time does this take?

One kickoff call, one review each Friday, and decisions when I ask for them. Plan on two to three hours a week. The build is structured so the heavy lifting stays on my side of the table.

What if I don't like the direction?

You see work every Friday, so drift gets caught in days, not weeks. Direction changes inside scope are part of the process. If we still disagree after that, we stop, you pay for what shipped, and you keep everything.

Scope is written before work starts. New requests get priced as new work, in writing, before anything gets built. Neither of us gets surprised.

Who owns the files?

You do. Source files, fonts, licenses, and account access transfer at handoff. If we part ways, you lose nothing.

Why one person instead of an agency?

You brief the person doing the work. No account layer, no juniors learning on your budget. When a specialist is needed, I bring one in and stay accountable.

A senior designer, a web developer, and a content editor are three salaries. These systems need all three skills for six weeks, not three careers. When the build ends, your team runs it without new headcount.
